I believe Siffrin has every right to feel the way that he does.

[ He sighs, crossing his arms, the weight sitting in his chest still heavy. ]

I am of the same mind as you. I wish they had saved it for much, much later. We still need to cooperate to make our escape with all of us intact.

No, I believe you are right. 'Tis where I fall on the subject, when it comes down to the minute details.

[ Ugh. He hates all of this, especially when Siffrin is so angry with him in spite of G'raha fully understanding. ]

I suppose it all felt that this would clean up too easily.

[ They needed to throw a literal knife in there somewhere. ]

[ That actually almost makes him laugh. ]

What would be the most ideal way to you, friend? That he reawakens his mother and those of you who have perished return so that we may all escape together?

at least it wasn't hog long

Thus, giving him no reason to pursue this venture any longer, with us or with others in the future.

[ It's incredible, really, that Sabo would think to make a wish like that, much less the fact that it worked so well in his favor. ]

I never thought I would feel this sentiment, however... I truly am grateful your killer escaped notice.

I fear that no matter how long I lectured you for, you would not regret your actions.

[ He's so proud of what he's done, and he has every right to be. G'raha couldn't take that away from him, and... it's both a good and bad thing, he thinks. ]

Your plan was near flawless. Ridding your body of evidence that would give away cause of death and creating a scene to distract us from the true core of your plan.

...Rather, 'tis how I see it.

He certainly went through great lengths for it.

[ But, hm. "He." It doesn't surprise G'raha, not much, but it does serve to make him more curious. ]

Who was it, if I may be so bold? [ A pause. ] I would like to believe you know me well enough that I do not need to stipulate that I would not share this information.

[ And yet he does anyway. ]

[ He leans toward the hat, his eyebrows raised in pure shock. ]

Blade?!

[ But the shock dissipates only a few moments after and he leans back again, closes his eyes for a moment, and lets out a soft breath. ]

He had promised me he would take any measures possible to give us an exit. [ He smiles, in spite of everything. ] You were right to trust him, friend. If anyone would carry forth a wish like yours, 'twould be him. I've caught glimpses of the selflessness and determination that lies underneath his outermost layers.

'Tis what I like most about him. He accepts the full consequences of his actions and carries no ire for those who cannot abide by them.

[ He respects that about Blade a lot, and it's what ultimately drew G'raha to him. ]

There is... another, more selfish reason that I am glad he was not caught. I plan on assisting him with his memory when we are finally set free. Knowing that he walks with us now leaves my heart feeling at ease without fear that he will not make his way back to this realm.

'Tis the price that immortals pay. The memories filled with spite and hatred stick close to their minds, driving them mad.

[ Hence, the rabies. ]

I intend to draw forth more positive memories and bring them to the forefront of Blade's mind. He has agreed to this method.

Likewise. Longevity is a curse in many instances.

[ Even his own longevity has been a curse, so he's thankful that he's back to a normal lifespan. ]

Regardless, he will know peace... even should this attempt fail.

[ Sabo should understand the implications of that—G'raha, too, has an agreement with Blade should this not work out. ]
