Siffrin said that it sounded to them as if she was asleep. Neither alive nor dead. They believe that after she gave Ish magic, she may have fallen asleep.
[ And ever since then... ]
They also stated that he's an attendant and is part of her, or has a part of her within him. I can corroborate the attendant part, as he mentioned "other attendants" in passing to me during one of our conversations. I have to wonder, then, if he is also duty bound to ensuring her safety.
I remember him referring to himself as an attendant to me as well but we were talking about something else when he brought that up. He mentioned having siblings, too, didn't he?
[ during one of the trials... ]
Could it be the fact that she's asleep now due to giving up her magic to him and his other siblings? [ hmm. ] You mentioned it with your own magic—if you push yourself too hard that you'll exhaust yourself but will be fine after a bit of rest.
Do you think that could be the case with her? That whatever Ish is planning and needs our bodies for is wanting to speed up the process.
I do think it could be the case. Though I must wonder what his method here has to do with it. Emotions play a role, I believe, but beyond that...
[ He shakes his head. Not to mention where their physical forms come in, too. Sabo has a point with that too. ]
Siffrin also confided that Ish's goddess would be upset over the state of things. She would not have wanted it to be this way. Mayhap... that is an angle we can pursue, if need be.
[ He's not above guilting Ish into giving up, basically. ]
I don't want to overcomplicate what's before us, but it's hard to know what we can take as truth and what might be twisted to better suit his needs.
[ half-truths and all of that. though with the suggestion about using his goddess/mother as a means to pressure ish... sabo frowns at the idea. it's not that he isn't against it it's just— ]
We might want to tread carefully around assumptions made about his goddess. My enemies have tried to do something similar with me and things did not turn out well for them.
[ looks into the camera. no one knows of sabo's temper and that's 9000% for the best. ]
G'raha is definitely getting an inkling of that temper right now, at least, his words making him wonder if there are times when Sabo shows no mercy at all. ]
You do make a good point. He could very easily lash out at us.
[ And they need to use their bargaining chips carefully. ]
All that being said, I believe we are beginning to puzzle together the bigger picture. We're aware of the situation regarding his magic and some of his reasoning for doing this at all. We also know that he can, in some manner, be killed... though I daresay that it will come consequences.
[ Like this world getting destroyed before they can escape it. ]
[ if g'raha never asks sabo about his temper then he'll never learn about it....not that he would be proud to confess about how bad it can be. (and definitely not about how ruthless he can be if the situation calls for it.) ]
I agree.
[ he'll go over everything that they've just said just now and...hm. ]
I know previously we've talked about holding a meeting of sorts to discuss things, but I think things have reached a point where we must talk about what we've learned. No more hiding in secret.
If things are going to take a turn then we might as well get ahead of it.

[ Even though he finds a lot of value in secrecy. ]
There may be much and more that our other companions have to offer that we do not know.
