right now "petty" is sharing the space with a whole mess of emotions. some named, some not — a tangled, tired thread in need of an outlet, relief where there is none. sabo is there, instead, and while she doesn't see him as someone who'll make it quiet...
it's a distraction from twitching fingers and layers of pressure on her head and her chest. so, she's barging in! that helpful roommate who does indeed slot herself into this consultation without being asked. ]
I've always gone with the "paint over it" approach... Pretty sure you know that's a classic by now.
