[ hewwo g'raha... as one could expect, today ended no better than it did previously—not that it was the outcome that he wanted to see. the ideal was to see unexpected things happen. unfortunately as it is, they were all faced with the reality of the situation.

During a conversation that I had with him, he implied that some of the cost to him for casting one of his spells was to sacrifice some of his memories. As hard as it is to pin him down for answers, it didn't seem like he was familiar with the scene that had played out when I activated the card.
And to his words, all spells must be paid with a price... Perhaps some of the price he paid prevents certain things from happening.

If that's the name for that kind of magic. I can't imagine that he would accept anything that wouldn't restrict him without giving him an advantage.

I agree. If he had been losing his memories of the previous week, mayhap when he remembered last week, he hoped that we would have forgotten yet again.

I believe he can twist as many riddles and cryptic words into the things he speaks as satisfies him, because we have no room to question him at the moment.

Seeing the response to Siffrin's death... I imagine our culprit hopes that they will never be discovered. I doubt they would be given anything kinder than the cold shoulder.
